This full bathroom was gutted top to bottom, leaving only the tub and surround. The house when built in the ’80s had carpet installed in the bathrooms. Why anyone would install carpet in a bathroom is beyond logical reasoning. Luckily that trend didn’t last long. The bathroom is now updated and feels larger with warm blue hues and white trim.
Here’s what was included in this bathroom’s transformation.
- The flooring was stripped and new tile was installed on top of a new foundation of hardy cement board and a Ditra membrane
- New toilet, flange, and seal
- New 48″ vanity cabinet
- New acrylic resin vanity top with bowl and faucet hardware
- Added new trim, chair rail, mirror, accessories, with a fresh new coat paint
Completion time for this project was one week, once the vanity and top were delivered.
